01.25.14- Never turn your back on a charging turtle As the editor of the Silver Bear Cafe, I spend most of my time researching current events. I explore the markets, the economic war that is being waged on the middle class, precious metals, the Federal Reserve, energy, and how to go about surviving financially. In this weekly column I will attempt to condense the week's events and examine how the news might affect your pocketbook. - JSB Have you ever wondered why your family and friends seemed so "knot-headed" when it comes to subjects and issues like the ones that preponderate the news on this web site? Me too. I think that, more and more, the act of learning has become associated with work and drudgery. In fact, in some factions of the various inner cities in America, it has become "uncool" to get good grades in school. Those that attempt to excel are ostracized. Even if they graduate, I suspect that most kids quit learning, on purpose, the moment they get out of school. Many stop learning long before they get out of school. I also believe that, approximately, ninety-seven percent of everyone in the U.S. has intentionally opted out of the learning process by the time they are fifty ("you can't teach an old dog new tricks"). That ninety-seven percent number coincides with the fact that only three percent of the population is concerned with actively becoming involved and affecting the future of our country. You, my dear readers, are among that three percent, and I appreciate you for it. My reasons for feeling the way I do is a result my awareness of the application of a sinister propaganda campaign, by the powers that be, that the population is subjected to, all day, everyday, via the bankster owned mainstream media. This propaganda is designed to distract and pacify and create a conditiion best described as an apathetic funk. The bulk of the population is not, at all ,concerned with matters of national importance, but prefers to be entertained, rather than educated. The findings, that are a result of my ongoing search for the truth, conflict with the comfort zones of most, and are, perhaps even subconsciously shunned by most. This is because, as expressed this week, by Hugo Salinas Price, "Everything in our modern world is a lie". The truth then, when provided, becomes contrary and confusing. Confusion tends to turn people off. The dumbing down campaign, a subject I have penned numerous missives about over the years, appears to be gaining traction, as the nature of world events seems to have the effect of causing most people's eyes to glaze over. "They just hear what they want to hear, and disregard the rest." Confession At this point, I need to bare my soul and acknowledge my obsessive quest for the truth. It is not unlike one's quest for religious understanding, and the inner peace that faith and belief can provide. Through my faith, I am provided that inner peace, and could not exist without it. The truth I am speaking of, however, has nothing to do with faith and belief. I have become just as impassioned with my quest for the truth, as any disciple of any esoteric tenet. I have also found that the level of tenacity that is paramount to my search, is unrequited, and pays no dividends, other than the self satisfaction I exact for my energies. Each time I do receive vindication for, as it turns out, "being right", the ability to respond with a hardy "I told you so" is skirted, as it provides no satisfaction or reward at all. I do, admittedly, on a daily basis, wonder where all these peoples heads are at. The truth exists whether you believe it or not. Denial and delusion have become the norm, and run rampant among the people. They seem satisfied to turn a blind eye to the travesties being committed, by the members of the Darkside, who have ascended to positions of power in the various governments around the globe, in their names. So long as they remain in denial, they will be impotent and of little use when it comes to fighting the good fight. I fervently believe that there are problems within our great country that, if left to fester, will lead to the demise of America and the end of the world as we know it. I also believe that we must acknowledge and understand the problems before they can be solved. What in the World is going on? So far, this year, I have been focusing, at least a portion of my commentaries, on the ever escalating conflict in Syria, and what effect it might have on us, as middle class Americans. This week, the escalation has, once again, taken center stage on many of the alternative news sites, as well as those in the mainstream. Essentially, I have been adhering to our perennial theme of "the Bear" which is to consider how current events will affect our pocketbooks. We have explored how things may not be as they seem in Syria, at least not as they have been represented our mainstream media sources. This week John Kerry, the esteemed(lol) Secretary of State for the U.S., demanded the removal of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Al-Assad has been accused, by Kerry, as being a "magnet for terrorism" in the middle east. However, contrary to Kerry's assertions ( which are, of course, those of the Obama administration) many news sources, throughout the world, have identified the opposition forces, those on the ground conducting war against the Syrian government, as paid mercenaries fighting in the employ of the Saudi Arabian government. Here again, this is not a war that is being fought for humanitarian reasons. It is my opinion that no war in history has ever been fought for humanitarian reasons. Wars are always fought for wealth and power. Gasprom, the Russian energy giant, wants to sell Europe natural gas in return for rubles. Russia is backing Iran and Syria. We now learn that Iran would also be happy to sell their natural gas for rubles, a move that would further undermine the dollar and shift power from west to east. Apparently, Iran is in talks with Syria and has proposed a natural gas pipeline to send their gas, via Syria, to Turkey and Europe. What if Saudi Arabia was willing to sell their natural gas for ruples? Would Russia be willing to go along with that? And while we are trying to get a grasp on the motives of the various sovereigns who are involved in all this intrigue, the plot thickens. Enter China The Chinese have recently conducted a Strategic Partnership Initiative with Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Iran. China's objective seems to be the creation of a Petro-Yuan. The transition from a Petro-Dollar system to a Petro-Yuan system will also result in the decimation of the Dollar's purchasing power. It would seem that we have China, as well as Russia vying for currency supremacy in the middle east. Is this what they mean when they speak of currency wars? Unless the American Government prevails in their attempt to insure that the Petro-Dollar System continues, the value of the dollar will be toast, which will immediately result in cutting America's middle class standard of living by half. The chaos that will surely ensue will incite insurrection and riots on Main Street. But wait, don't react yet, it gets worse. China has managed to buy sixty percent of all the real estate in the financial district of NYC. They recently transacted a deal with JP Morgan whereby they took over ownership of Chase Manhattan Plaza. This, apparently, involved a default, by JP Morgan of Chinese debt. China, who holds $1.3 trillion in US Treasury debt, is also about to foreclose on the Federal Reserve. The US defaulted on its debt to China back in October, a fact that few Americans were made aware of. One might consider these moves by China as a hostile takeover of the Federal Reserve (a private corporation owned by banksters) and, as an aside, the US Government as well. When the Chinese take over the day to day operations of the Federal Reserve, which I predict they will do this year, they will also gain control of the IRS which is simply a collection agency for the FED. I have never thought that the best interests of the American people were served by either the Fed or the IRS (they have been systematically robbing us blind for 100 years). Somehow, I can't imagine that things will improve under the Draconian leadership of the Government of China. OK, we've determined that the Russians, Iranians, Syrians and Chinese have cause and motive to undermine the US Dollar for reasons involving wealth and power. This might seem to be a good place to draw a conclusion. But I'm afraid there is even more to this dog and pony show than we have discussed so far. As I have expresses, ad nauseam, over the years, I believe that, if there can be blame directed at one single entity for all this mayhem, that it should be directed at the Federal Reserve. Fractional Reserve Banking, coupled with fiat currencies, have enabled the vilest faction of society to attain both wealth and power and, is now is being recognized by even the most obtuse mainstream media sources (CNN, Yahoo, CNBC and MSNBC among many others). The disparaging gap between the rich and poor has grown so apparent, and has become so lopsided, the the social fabric of the human race is being stretched to its limits. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve is not alone in the financial debauchery that is going on all over the world. It may be the most proficient financial predator that ever existed, but is not the only one. China's government, which occupies the same low moral and ethical standards as all the other governments of the world, has abused its money printing powers to such an extreme that their economy is about to implode. They have become the worlds largest importer of oil and, as such, are about to go to war with Japan over some oil-rich territory in the South China Sea, a territory whose ownership is disputed with Japan. In recent history (for the last two hundred years) when a country's economic condition reaches the same tipping point as China's currently occupies, war has been the means of diverting the attentions of a discontented and angry populace. The U.S. Military is already in a covert war with China in Africa. I believe that, for any of a dozen reasons, there is a 80/20 chance that we will be at war (overtly) with China this year. The world is fast approaching a massive reset. Apparently, those that would be kings have already stolen enough and are now planning for a population reset. The turning over of the massive economic interests of the banksters to the Chinese may just be part of a larger ploy. I have long suspected that the balance sheets of the big banks, the Federal Reserve and even the U.S. Government itself contain far more liabilities than assets and the transfer of these holdings may be viewed by the Darkside as "good riddance". When the Chinese realize that they have, once again, been screwed, there will be a dozen more reasons for war. Perhaps war plays an important role in the Darkside's reset agenda. At the very least, you must be aware of the possibilities. I foresee most of the world's populations taken unaware. When the reset comes, if you don't have a plan, you won't stand a chance. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Conclusion You must first realize that there are, present in our lives, enemies. You must then know who those enemies are, and act accordingly. Eliminate as much debt as possible, especially variable rate debt, such as credit cards and lines of credit. Interest rates will be rising, so the elimination of debt offers a real return of escaping rising rates by creditors. Get some control over some fresh water. If you are depending exclusively on Social Security, stop. Follow the course opposite to custom and you will almost always do well... Its not what you don't know that will screw you up, it's what you are absolutely sure of that is absolutely wrong. The spin you hear from the mainstream media is intended to mislead you. Open your eyes and face the future. If you leave your head in the sand and ignore it, you are only leaving your butt exposed for the world to kick. This all may sound like gloom and doom, but when you get a handle on what is going to happen, you will have a future filled with opportunity. Fortune favors the Informed. More next week... May the Great Spirit be with you always, Johnny
