Your Invisible Prison

The subject I wish to discuss today is extremely complex and convoluted, yet it is something that people need to try and wrap their heads around; before it is too late. Sitting here thinking about how to go about explaining it all is akin to trying to describe the intricacy of a spider web to a blind person; yet, in a way, a spider web and the subject matter I wish to discuss are both very similar; as they trap those things that land in them.

How many have watched any of the dystopian, futuristic, movies in which, at first glance, society appears to be a Utopia? In these films, the people seem happy, they all are well taken care of, the cities are clean and crime free; but lurking just under the surface there is something wrong; something seriously wrong!!!

While the book and the film differ in storylines, the film Logan’s Run is a perfect example of the point I am trying to make. In the film, the people all appear to be happy, with a free lifestyle in which all their needs are taken care of. There is only one catch; at the age of 30 you are scheduled for termination; supposedly to keep an equilibrium between population and availability of resources inside the sealed in city they live in. In this city, life is controlled by a centralized computer system.

Those who try to avoid termination are known as ‘runners’ and those whose job it is to chase, and eliminate these runners are known as ‘sandmen.’ Logan is a sandman who was assigned to infiltrate an underground organization that is helping runners escape. However, as the movie progresses, he begins to align himself with the runners, and eventually discovers that it is possible to live outside the walled in city that confines everyone. Logan then returns to the city to destroy the system that enslaves people, and set the people free. Ah, a happy ending; Logan gets the girl and succeeds in freeing the people…

Before I get to the crux of this essay, there is another movie I would like to discuss; one you are probably tired of hearing me talk about – The Matrix. The basic storyline of The Matrix is that people are living lives that are lies; they do not reflect their true condition as slaves. As Morpheus puts it,

The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us, even now in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window, or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.”

Essentially, The Matrix is a system of control. Of course, as in almost every story of this type, there are the anti-heroes, or heroes; depending upon your perspective, I suppose. In The Matrix, the heroes are Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity; while the bad guys are the agents; such as Smith. While the sequels were not ‘bad’ films, they pale in comparison to the original when it comes to providing people with analogies that describe their existence in the ‘real’ world. One such analogy is how systems of control always seem to go after, and eliminate if necessary, those who seek to free themselves of the control the system wields over them.

In the film, those seeking to free themselves from The Matrix are pursued by ‘Agents’, and in the real world, we are pursued by a standing army of law enforcement and jack-booted federal agents; not to mention the faithful whose love of the system is so total that they fear people like us; believing that we threaten to bring down their precious system. While the destruction of the system would not cause me to mourn, that is not what I seek; I only seek the complete and total enjoyment of my rights and liberty, and the system exists to deprive me of that; so I seek to free myself, not you, just myself from the control it exerts over me.

There two other quotes from the Matrix that I wish to discuss before I move on. The first comes when Neo first meets Morpheus, and is told,

What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.”

When I saw The Matrix for the first time, I nearly fell out of my chair when I heard that; for it described me to a T. Although I was politically ignorant for a large part of my life, I always felt that there was something wrong with the world I lived in, and I always rebelled against those who tried to tell me what I ‘must’ and ‘must not’ do. I rebelled against the authority imposed upon me by my parents, the school system, the military, and my employers. The only person to successfully exert control over me is my wife; for she could put the fear of God into anyone when she gets angry.

The point is, I have always felt that there was something off kilter about a world in which there are so many laws, rules, and regulations, telling people to do this, don’t do that; and I have always rebelled against those who tried to confine me to a cage in which I could not enjoy the rights and liberty that are the birthright of every human being.

While that quote describes me, the next, and final quote from The Matrix, describes the great teeming mass of society; those who have faith in, or think we must work within the framework of the system to regain our rights and liberty. The quote comes as Neo is undergoing his agent training, as Morpheus tells him,

You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inert, so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it.”

Tell me that does not describe many in this country! How many people are so hopelessly dependent upon the benefits the system provides them with that they could not survive on their own without those benefits? How many people, for whatever reason, tremble in fear when you talk of tearing the system down? How many would fight to defend the system against those who sought to free themselves from its control over them? Yeah, that quote accurately describes the majority of those living in America today. That brings to mind a quote from Thomas Paine’s book, The Rights of Man,

When I contemplate the natural dignity of man, when I feel (for Nature has not been kind enough to me to blunt my feelings) for the honour and happiness of its character, I become irritated at the attempt to govern mankind by force and fraud, as if they were all knaves and fools, and can scarcely avoid disgust at those who are thus imposed upon.”

The reason I wanted to talk about those two films is that they both provide effective analogies for the subject matter I wish to discuss today; a prison that is being erected around you at this very moment; a prison not unlike the one Morpheus tells Neo about, “…a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.

What is liberty? Seriously, I would like you to pause for a few moments and ponder that question; what is liberty, what does it mean to you, and how high up on your list of priorities is the preservation of it; for if you do not heed what I am about to discuss, you WILL lose it all!

I do not know whether this is made up, or if it is a true story, but I once read about a chemistry professor who had some foreign exchange students in his class. One of them was from a former communist country, and one day he asked the professor if he knew how to catch wild pigs. The professor was a bit taken aback by the question, but allowed the student to continue. This is what he said:

“You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free food. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming to eat corn. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly, the wild pigs realize they have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught, sooooo, they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to the free corn that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity because in captivity they have free corn.”

Folks, you are the pigs in that analogy! Unfortunately, the story begins to get a bit more complex; as it is more than just a few paltry benefits tossed down to the peasant class by their rulers that is the enticement that leads you into captivity.

Fear is a powerful motivating factor in people’s lives; people seek to avoid it, and those things that cause them to feel it. In fact, it would not surprise me if people would be willing to sacrifice their children to the gods if they could just live their lives free of fear; that is how powerful fear is. Those who seek to rule over us know this, and they use it as effectively as the most well-trained soldier uses the weapons of war.

What do you think a stampede is if it is not an entire herd of animals fleeing from some threat; either real or imagined? Are you so obtuse that you cannot see that same behavior among society in general? If the powers that be can introduce enough fear into the lives of the masses, they can get them to do almost anything; sacrifice any, or all, of their freedom if their rulers would just make the fear go away. I find it to be both pathetic and pitiful; but I am an asshole; or so I have been told.

For people whose minds are controlled by this fear, the biggest fear of all is the truth; for to learn, and accept, the truth imposes a huge responsibility upon them; one that many simply refuse to bear. Yet, to ignore this truth is to remain a slave to those who control, shape, and manipulate your thoughts and actions; which is the exact opposite of how a free individual lives their life.

In 196, Friedrich von Hayek published The Constitution of Liberty, in which he states, “Liberty not only means that the individual has both the opportunity and the burden of choice; it also means that he must bear the consequences of his actions… Liberty and responsibility are inseparable.” That, first and foremost, is probably why so many people fear liberty; why they are willing to voluntarily give it up for the twin promises of comfort and security.

Oh, Boobus Americanus does not believe me; they say they love liberty, and will defend it to the death. Is that so? How much of your liberty did you surrender without a whimper after 9/11? How much did you surrender during the recent Covid scandemic? Do not tell you that you will defend your liberty when you have not done so in the past, and your current actions show that you are not likely to in the future!

I see people scurrying about their lives with their faces buried in their cell phones; oblivious as to what is really happening around them; thinking that whatever crises may arise, their government will save them from it. Through a comprehensive system of indoctrination, people have come to believe that their government works for them; that it has their best interests in mind in everything it does. They believe that the ‘only’ problem with the system is that it falls into the hands of the ‘other’ party; locking them in an endless struggle for the illusion of control of the system; while those the government truly serves work tirelessly to strip away your freedom; building an invisible prison around you that, once it is completed, will be escape proof.

This prison is complex and multi-faceted, and people see it going up around them without recognizing that it is, in fact, a prison. This prison which will enslave us is being sold to us under the guise of numerous facades; from public safety, to climate change, to the general convenience of the gadgets we now take for granted as indispensable parts of our lives.

At the very center of this prison, or, the glue that holds it all together, if you will, is your identity; your digital identity, to be more specific. Those in power have been working towards the goal of constructing this prison for a very long time; it is just that the technological advancements that exist today did not exist when they first began to implement their evil designs on our freedom.

I am reminded of the scene in the second Iron Man film when Tony Stark is watching a movie his dad, Howard, made. Tony’s father states that he had the idea for something back when Tony was young, but the technology did not yet exist for him to finalize his vision. Well, the same goes for those who seek tNow, with the advent of digital identities, people are moving closer and closer to having their digital identity replacing their analogue (paper) identity. Online shopping, online banking, everything is being done in the digital world now; with your pay being digitally transferred from your employer to your bank without any real money transferring hands. Add to that the fact that debit transactions are quickly becoming the norm, all the old ways are going the way of the dodo; our identities will exist in a completely digital world.

Your digital ID will also be attached to, and correspond with, your face; which is constantly being scanned and digitized by your cell phone, your PC camera, and a network of cameras being erected across the country. It almost makes me think of that popular 1980’s figure, Max Headroom; a completely digital personality that had no physical existence.

Have you ever noticed that if you try to use your iPhone while driving, a message pops up asking if you are driving? How does your phone know that you are in a vehicle if it is not tracking your every move? Yet people welcome the GPS feature of phones; as it allows them to use wonderful apps like Google maps to get from Point A to Point B without having to read a physical map and memorize the route.

Can you not see how easy it is for them to get people to accept the tools that will eventually form the prison that enslaves them?

When you shop with your debit card, every transaction, every purchase, is recorded, stored, and then analyzed by Artificial Intelligence; using algorithms to detect patterns and identify your behavior. With that, they can predict what you might do under certain situations, and they can act proactively if your actions might threaten their power and control over you. The same goes for your social media use; every post you make to Facebook or Twitter is watched, recorded, and analyzed. With the predictive algorithms being used, they probably know more about you than you yourself know.

Once they know you better than you know yourself, they can attach that knowledge to your digital identity; painting a picture of who is most likely to obey the command of their rulers, and who is likely to oppose certain restrictions upon their rights and liberty. To them, you are a dot on a screen, or map; moving through life; but there is a file attached to that dot that tells them everything they need to know about you; from your financial transactions, to your medical history, to your internet activity and political beliefs.

It is pretty damned scary, if you think about it; kind of like the Pre-Cogs in the film The Minority Report. There is no such thing as privacy anymore; you are monitored, surveilled, and analyzed every waking moment of your life, and the real scary thing is, this does not seem to bother people. If it did, they would have called for the immediate abolishment of the National Security Agency after Edward Snowden exposed the extent to which we are being spied upon; not called Snowden a traitor; sending him into exile!

While all of this might be of some concern to people, it does nothing to explain how they seek to impose complete control over people; imprison them. The answer to that comes in two parts; via their control over the mode of purchasing goods, and through a social credit score assigned to each individual; based upon how well they conform to the dictates of those in power.

o enslave you; technology has advanced to the point where the prison is under construction…as we speak!

As this pertains to your identity, look at your social security number; it is used to identify you, and is required to open a bank account, get a job, and apply for benefits or services. To the government, I am not Neal Ross, I am the number assigned to me by the Social Security Administration; which makes me think of the Bob Seger song, I Feel Like A Number:

If people understood economics (which I barely understand myself) they would see that this rampant borrowing by our government has but one purpose in mind; to crash the dollar and bring in a new form of currency; a digital currency. There are already hints that such a currency it being discussed; with the Central Bank Digital Currency, or CBDC, being the one most likely to be implemented.

If a digital currency is implemented, each of us will be given/assigned and account that corresponds with our digital identity. I used to think that this will correspond with the implanting of a chip in people’s hands, that would be scanned when making purchases; and it still might. However, with the progress of facial recognition software, and our faces being part of our digital ID, we may just have our faces scanned to access our accounts.

I have had discussions with people who have said that the people would not accept a digital currency; especially those with large savings accounts; as they would lose all their savings. I admit, I struggled with that myself; until I added in the rampant inflation occurring across the country. As the dollar continues to plummet in value, it takes more of them to purchase the things people need to survive. If we continue on our current path, the dollar will become absolutely worthless, and the people will gratefully accept a stable digital currency.

Just think, no longer will you have to withdraw money from your bank to shop, to write out a check, or pull your debit card out and punch in your PIN number. You just go to the store, scan your items, then your face; which then transfers the funds in your account to the store automatically. Easy as pie, right? I have read that some stores have shopping carts that automatically scan every item you place into them; you just scan a card to pay; without ever interacting with another human being.

That sounds all well in good; until you add in the fact that you will also be given a social credit score; based upon your beliefs and how you act. They are already doing this in China now; it is not conspiracy theory people…it is happening there, and it will happen here as well!

If you cannot think for yourself, think things that are contrary to popular public opinion, then how can you claim to have any freedom at all; when the mind is the last refuge of freedom? If you say something bad about those in power, your social credit score will go down. My God people, they tried something similar in 1798 with the Alien and Sedition Acts; making it a crime to speak out against those in power. That only shows you how far back in our history they have been seeking to control/regulate what we think and say. It has only gotten worse; with hate speech, political correctness, and the labeling of those who speak the truth as wild-eyed conspiracy theorists.

Can you not see where this is heading; the complete, and irrevocable, abolishment of the freedom of thought and speech! If you cannot think without them controlling your thoughts, if you cannot act without them telling what you can do, how can you claim to be free?

Much of this is going to be imposed upon us under the guise of climate change and global warming. Just look at my home state of California, that treasonous bastard Gavin NewScum is just showing you what is in store for the rest of the country. California has always been a testing ground; about 10-15 years ahead of what is going on in the other states.

California is seeking to abolish all internal combustion engines; with none being sold after 2035. NewScum has also signed into law a bill that will prevent gas burning furnace purchases by a certain date; I can’t recall the year off the top of my head. Yet we already suffer from rolling blackouts due to the power grid’s inability to provide electricity during peak demand periods. So, their solution will be to regulate and limit the electricity you can use; under the guise of minimizing your carbon footprint. The environmentalists will herald this as a victory, while what they are really doing is celebrating their own enslavement.

See how stupid people have become?

Everything you do, everything you say, everything you purchase, will be taken into consideration when determining your social credit score; with the more you conform to popular beliefs, the higher your score. The thing about it is, the lower your score, the less freedom you will have; the less you can travel, access your digital currency.

Here are just a few scenarios for you to think about…

Let’s say you post something critical of the President on Facebook. The AI algorithms see it, and then lower your social credit score instantaneously; possibly even blocking your access to the internet; as you will probably be required to undergo a facial scan to log onto the internet once they are done building your digital prison.

Let’s say that you exceed the use of electricity for a specific time frame; they simply cut your power off to compensate for your excess; while lowering your social credit score at the same time. Why do you think the Utility Companies went to such great expense at installing all those smart meters on your homes? It is so they can monitor, and control if necessary, your power usage.

Go ahead, call it conspiracy theory. We will see who is laughing when you are sitting in the dark because you exceeded your allotted energy consumption!

Since they will know every purchase you make, they will know how healthy your diet is. Could they not use that data to raise or lower your health insurance premiums, or deny you certain care at the doctor’s office?

With the push for all electric cars, they are building a fence that prevents you from travelling outside a specific zone. Not only could they, and probably will, limit how many times you can recharge your electric car, they have the technology to shut it down if they want; stranding you and preventing you from reaching your final destination.

This social credit score will not just apply to individuals either; it will apply to companies. If a company does not hire enough minorities, or LBGTQIA workers, its social credit score will drop. If a company does not practice ‘green’ technologies to lower its carbon footprint, its social credit score will drop. If a company is in good standing, and you have a social credit score that shows you are not in compliance with their beliefs, you could be denied a job; even if you are qualified.

Oh, you laugh? Some companies already use your Facebook posts to determine whether or not to hire, or keep you on. This is being indoctrinated into our youth from the earliest of years in school; with kids being taught not to say certain things; things that contradict politically correct norms of speech and behavior.

Like I said, this prison has been a long time in the making, and you have to see all the components, connect all the dots, to realize how extensive, and comprehensive, it will be once it is fully erected.

How compliant do you think people are going to be when, if they do not comply, they can lose the ability to work, to travel, to buy goods to feed their families? That is why they do not like those who preach self-reliance; or Preppers as they are often called. In 1792 James Madison wrote,

The class of citizens who provide at once their own food and their own raiment, may be viewed as the most truly independent and happy. They are more: they are the best basis of public liberty, and the strongest bulwark of public safety. It follows, that the greater the proportion of this class to the whole society, the more free, the more independent, and the more happy must be the society itself.”

The evil bastards behind all this (and it is NOT your elected officials) know that the more self-reliant a people are, the less able they are to control them; which is why self-reliance and prepping is scorned and laughed at; to discourage people from becoming self-reliant. They know that the more dependent a people are, the more easily controlled they are as well. In his Virginia Resolutions, Query XIX, Thomas Jefferson wrote, “Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition.”

Both Madison and Jefferson warned us, but we have allowed ourselves to become the most dependent generation in American History; refusing to accept responsibility for our own wants and needs. Once again, this dependency is not something new; it dates back to Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal; before that in fact. Look at the Freedmen’s Bureau after the Civil War; when the former slaves were promised that their government would take care of them; a mule and 40 acres. They sought to create an entire class of citizenry who relied upon Uncle Sam for many, if not all, of their wants and needs.

This plan has been a long time in the making; possibly dating as far back as 1787, when the Constitution that allowed this system of government to move forward with this agenda was first written. Sure, they may not have conceived of the technological advancements that would be made, but their quest for absolute control is apparent if you study the writings and correspondence of those ‘wonderful’ men who drafted the Constitution. Excuse me while I go vomit; for that is the lie that set the whole ball of wax in motion.

Even though he signed into law the Federal Reserve Act, giving the bankers control over our currency, Woodrow Wilson still saw what was happening; how our ‘representative’ system of government DID NOT represent the people. Here are three quotes from Wilson that clearly show the truth:

Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

The government, which was designed for the people, has got into the hands of the bosses and their employers, the special interests. An invisible empire has been set up above the forms of democracy.”

I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.”

Most people vote, thinking that the solution lies in electing members of the political party they affiliate with. Others see the flaws in the system, and think that they can be repaired by working within the framework of the system. In both instances, their faith lies in the system; that it is fundamentally good, and was designed and implemented by men whose interests lay in doing what was best for the American people. It is that lie that is the hardest to break people free of. The system is not good, and it was written and implemented by the same group, or class, of men who now seek to enslave you in this digital prison. So it is foolishness to look to them for help; they are aware of, and involved in, what is happening.

Our masters, or the wardens of this prison, if you will, are entities like the United Nations and the World Economic Forum. My God, Klaus Schwab told us that we would own nothing and be happy; what more do you need before you accept that these men are the puppet masters who pull the strings that make your elected officials dance?

I hear people say that this is all nonsense; mindless conspiracy theory; that the American people would never stand for it; even if it were true. Well, did they rise up over the growth of the NSA’s spying upon them, the establishment of the Dept. of Homeland Security, and the passage of the Patriot Act? Did they rise up against the lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccine requirements due to Covid?

In the film V for Vendetta, the protagonist V states,

And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who’s to blame? Well certainly there are those who are more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you’re looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn’t be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you…

If anything, Covid was a test run for what is coming; something by which they could gauge how effectively they could control the population of the entire planet… and we Americans failed the test miserably. What makes it more sad is the fact that, even though we surrendered our freedom, we still claim to love and cherish that freedom.

I am sorry if I seem blunt, but we are fucked; that is, unless people break free of their loyalty and obedience to a system that has but one goal in mind; to make slaves/prisoners of us all. During the American Revolution, George Washington delivered a speech in which he said, “The time is near at hand which must determine whether Americans are to be free men or slaves.”

I would say that we are at that point once again; facing a choice to fade quietly into slavery, or to rise up like lions and defend that liberty which is our birthright from God Almighty. And, as Patrick Henry so eloquently said,

Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!
