As the editor of the Silver Bear Cafe, I spend most of my time researching current events. I explore the markets, the economic war that is being waged on the middle class, precious metals, the Federal Reserve, energy, and how to go about surviving financially. In this weekly column I will provide commentary, and attempt to condense the week's events and examine how the news might affect your pocketbook.

Clueless is no excuse

If you are like me, you know of many folks that are aware of the plethora of problems facing America, and you even have an idea as to what some of the solutions might be. I didn't say you knew many folks like that, just that you knew of many folks like that. You probably know of Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, Dr. Jim Willie, Brandon Smith, Catherine Austin Fitts, Bill Bonner, Anthony Wile, James Howard Kunstler, and many others (please forgive me if I left you out. There are just too many enlightened members of our community to mention). But you probably don't personally know many people like that. Neither do I. I have met many that fit that bill, but I cannot say that I know them. I don't hang out with them. Out of all the folks I see on a regular basis, only two have a clue when it comes to being aware of the threats our country faces from the inside. I would like to add that the exceptional quality of my friends allows me to bask in their glow. They are, in most cases, intelligent, compassionate, well mannered and well heeled "class acts", but for some reason, they remain clueless as to the actual nature of the threats to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of property" that we face, that originate from inside the United States today (read in, Washington DC). Why do you reckon that is?

I was having lunch the other day with one of my closest friends. He thinks I'm crazy. Because of that fact, we do not discuss economics or politics very often, but I believe that he thought that he could get a rise out of me by bringing up the Bunkerville incident and statements that Mr. Bundy allegedly made during a television interview. Please understand that he never reads this web site. He hates it. Because of what my friend had been led to believe, by the MSM, he was quick to take the government's side of the debate. He knew little to nothing about any of it other than a sound bite or two, but was quick to repeat the buzz words that he had garnered watching the mainstream media reports. All of the sudden he was an authority.

So, in order to insure myself that what my friend said he knew, from MSM reports, had actually been misreported, I dove down the rabbit hole, once again, to find out what had actually been said and, moreover, what the motives were of those that reported it.

It turned out that the sound bite he was basing his "jump to conclusions" attitude on had originated at the top of the presstitute slime ball ladder, the New York Times. The New York Times bent over backwards to make Bundy look like an unregenerate bigot. This was enough information for, not only my friend in question, but probably 90% of America, to jump to conclusions because it is so easy to do so. Cliven Bundy mentioned "Negros" and even used the term "Coloreds" to describe an irrefutable condition in America today. But he was demonized by the mainstream presstitutes (the governmental propaganda machine) as a racist. Please take the time to view his comments in context and judge for yourself:

As you can plainly see, Cliven didn't say anything that anyone with half a brain would disagree with. He certainly did not say anything that I disagreed with. The current welfare state has been engineered to provide for a greater level of slavery than anything that came before in American history. The slaves in this instance, while not physically abused, have been rendered impotent (metaphorically speaking in most cases).

We, as members of the ever dwindling middle class, have all been subjugated, and placated, and have been forced into involuntary debt slavery. If we don't pay property taxes, our homesteads revert to the ownership of the state, and then subsequently, the masters of the state, the banksters. We are prompted to pay tribute, at the point of a gun, which is collected from us in the form of "legal" debts and taxes, and those who would be kings would have us believe that we are paying that tribute for our own good, as well as the good of others, or to protect us all from some enemy. Harry Reid wants to protect us from "domestic terrorists".

Harry Reid is a domestic terrorist.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called on all of his "progressive" friends to form a "united front" against Bundy.

For those of you untrained in the tactical and strategic arts of the totalitarian left, let me explain that terminology. "United front" has special meaning to only one group - communists. If you doubt what I, a former commie, have to say about it, just Google the term. See for yourself. What Harry Reid's use of this term suggests is the left considers Cliven Bundy and all those rallying around his cause to be the most important target of the day. The "progressives" are apoplectic about this showdown in the desert. After all, they are supposed to be the champions of hardworking people. The government is supposed to be the friend and savior of working people. Yet, what Cliven Bundy has done, using "progressive" terminology, is to "heighten the contradictions" of socialist reality.

Over the past few weeks I have posted many articles that I deemed "truthful" about the Bundy/BLM confrontation. I have provided links to the constitutional clause that prohibits federal ownership of any public land other than those that are military installations (specifically Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17 of the Constitution) We have exposed how "Global Warming" and the "Endangered Species Act" are simply a ruse, perpetrated by the government, to criminally steal public land for fun and profit . So why is it that most are ready to believe whatever they hear? Why does not even one in one-hundred even consider the possibility that they are being lied to? Why are our friends and family members so reluctant, no, terrified to face the truth? Is it because they are scared of getting in trouble? is it because, at least in regard to doubting the official explanation, that they have been sufficiently placated by the misinformation campaign as to have been rendered unable to offer any resistance? Are they trying to "go along to get along" or are they just lazy? They all seem ready and willing to defend their right to ignore the truth, but, collectively, shirk their responsibility to defend it. Harry Reid and other slimeball public officials that are abusing their positions and violating the public trust are extremely troublesome, evil and dangerous, and need to be dealt with. But the folks that refuse to pull their heads out of the sand and see what's really going on constitute a far larger problem and, consequently, a greater threat to the future of America.

This web site is intended to let you know how current events will affect your pocketbook. If there is one insidious plan, being forwarded by the United Nations with the full complicity and backing of the American federal government, that will affect your pocketbook, it is Agenda 21.

As I told my friend the other day, the Federal Government has little to nothing to do with America. Agenda 21 is huge news, and yet very few, if any, of the friends I mentioned above, have the slightest clue as to what it is. It's like WTC Building Seven. I didn't know there was a building seven, they say. Duh!

We all know folks that will turn a deaf ear to even the mere mention of a conspiracy, or secret agenda. There are many who, when told it's raining, will vehemently fight that suggestion with both tooth and nail, but will concurrently refuse to go outside and look. I see stupid as either genetic or generic. Genetic is a cruel twist of fate, but generic is a self imposed affliction. I call it stupid on purpose (SOP). It is frustrating because, since they don't want to know, they will never educate themselves to the reality of it all. Most, I come in contact with, quit learning before they got out of school. The truth is out there. All that we can do is continue to seek the truth and continue to spread the word.

That's right. I stopped talking about that enemy sympathizer called the US Federal Courts. I ceased cheering for entities filing lawsuits, year after year, in pursuit of illusionary justice coming out of imaginary Halls of Justice.

I completely ended my day after day rounds in the congressional halls in hopes of finding the real representatives of the people. The occupiers of the US Congress represented a thing or two, but rest assured, "the people" was not among the what and who they represented.

I severed all my contacts with anything or anyone known as the US media, and I reduced my exposure to them to pretty much 'zero'- a must do in resisting and preventing the worst kind of toxicity to mankind (a concoction of propaganda, lies and misinformation ).

Most importantly, I found the real enemy. I discovered the mega beast. I unearthed the main evil paving the way for all the secondary evils and their deeds. I found the one common answer to the most common question asked of me: who/what is the real enemy we are facing today that we must fight.

Unfortunately that answer is not what the inquirers in the alternative media want to receive and air.

Sadly, the real answer is not what the bewildered and irate activists are willing to hear or acknowledge.

It is much easier to stare at the beasts in the forms of palaces and presidential mansions, carved majestic marble-granite courts, congresses or parliaments, media conglomerates ...

Beast-making is not that difficult. Channeling rage and energy towards the beastly abysses outside is a common practice.

On the other hand, it is hard and painful to turn the eyes inwards and look at one's self. It is not a common practice- that's for sure. It is not what we want or like to hear, acknowledge or tackle.

I find myself standing alone when I now answer the questions directed at me following the endless atrocities and scandals. I am no longer the provider of the popular answer. My answer is one of the most unpopular, if not the most, in the eyes and ears of the public. I accept the consequences. I may never be sought as an opinion-provider after the never-ending breaking news on ever-expanding and continuing scandals. And that's okay. Because I know there will be no hope of any meaningful action or changes so long as we stick with our national pride.

The enemy has been us; we the people. We the majority - in denial. Our national apathy. Our large majority's denial, indifference; apathy. Apathy is a must ingredient for any police state, authoritarian regime, dictatorship, for abuses of power, for corruption, national atrocities, genocide ... Some ingredients may be decreased, increased or substituted, but one key ingredient remains constant: Public Apathy.

Like a cat chasing its tail, like Don Quixote chasing the many windmills, we can target and point fingers at kings, presidents, statesmen, judges and media puppetries. In the end we'll end up with our own tail, we'll arrive at the windmill of our own. We will end up with us the people. And that is the ultimate enemy we must take on and out: Our very own denial and apathy.

Conclusion

You must first realize that there are, present in our lives, enemies. You must then know who those enemies are, and act accordingly. The levels of governmental, regulatory, and banking corruption, in the world, have reached the point that they are, not only heinous, but have also attained a state of critical mass. The bad guys who are basically rapacious maniacs, are about to bring the whole thing down, and must be dealt with. Unless We the People get some control over what is going down, the vast majority of the world's population will suffer immeasurably.

Spread the word. Wake up your family and friends. If you do nothing else, spreading the word will help.

Eliminate as much debt as possible, especially “variable rate” debt, such as credit cards and lines of credit. Interest rates will eventually rise, which will leave borrowers unable to repay loans. These borrowers include cities, states and countries. Rising interest rates will provide "the straw that breaks the camels back". If you are present, you will be taken down with everybody else. The elimination of debt offers a “real return” of escaping rising rates by creditors.

Get some control over some fresh water.

If you are depending exclusively on Social Security, stop.

Follow the course opposite to custom and you will almost always do well...

Its not what you don't know that will screw you up, it's what you are absolutely sure of that is absolutely wrong. The spin you hear from the mainstream media is intended to mislead you. Open your eyes and face the future. If you leave your head in the sand and ignore it, you are only leaving your butt exposed for the world to kick. This all may sound like gloom and doom, but when you get a handle on what is going to happen, you will have a future filled with opportunity. Fortune favors the Informed.
