Silver Volatility…and No Trip This Week

Jack Lew and friends are really doing a job on the price of paper silver lately jamming it below $20/oz again. Will it ever stop? Someday, yes…but I have long warned that “they” can place the price of COMEX Silver at $0/oz or $1M/oz with a click of a mouse.

For those of you who are Private Road Members I talked about this expected Silver price volatility coming by the end of the year in the Timeline Article. For those who are not paid members here was my expectation for silver (released on September 2013)…

“Silver should be in the news by the end of the year as silver prices have gone hyper-volatile both up and down(note: be prepared to ride out ANYTHING the Bad Guys may do with their computer rigging). Once the markets finally implode in 2014 watch for the CFTC to FINALLY announce charges against JP Morgan for silver market manipulation. Not the 3rd investigation which has already been white-washed but NEW CHARGES with plenty of evidence and confessions to back up the charges. If not right during the crash then right after the crash. At some point (likely before March 2014) we will see a “Force Majeure” in COMEX Silver as the CME decides to halt trading until everything “settles down”. The CME will not restart silver trading as events in the Winter eclipse the issues with silver and gold manipulation.”

In essence, there may come a scenario when the system breaks down and you will not be able to find ANY price quote for silver on ANY market. “They” may just force the price down and down and down with the computer programs until the system shuts down. After that silver may never trade on a traditional exchange again.

This is not to say that you should be selling your physical silver. On the contrary, you should be buying if you have cash left and holding if you are “all in” (like I am). Physical Silver will reemerge from the ashes of the financial meltdown and be one of the only “financial assets” left standing along with Physical Gold and likely some of the Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin that don’t rely on the banking system staying solvent.

This is from the Timeline article back in September when Bitcoin was valued around $200/coin…

“By December Bitcoin will be the talk of the town. Those who laughed it off will be yelling “Bubble, Bubble, Bubble” and those who got in early will be getting very rich…and very knowledgeable about further steps to preserve their new found wealth in PHYSICAL silver. My guess is that Bitcoin will be up to four digits by the end of the year ($1,000+). It will continue to grow throughout 2014 until the unbacked fiat system implodes. Then it’s anybody’s guess.”

I’d say that call was a direct hit and those of you who bought some Bitcoin are likely CHANGED forever. First you have experienced what an UNMANIPULATED alternative to the fiat money system trades like (huge swings without futures and options to hedge positions and rig the market) and also you have begun to understand that a NEW form of money has sprung out of this Global Monetary Chaos. Yes, it should be SILVER trading like Bitcoin is but remember…SILVER IS RIGGED! Bitcoin isn’t…much.

So this Brave New World we are about to enter into is gonna be really different. How different is something that nobody can predict…although I have tried:

Unfortunately there will be no Friday Road Trip this week as other holiday commitments have left no time to wade through the chaos. I will post a special Christmas Trip next week to carry us through the end of the year.
