Raise America’s Children to be Extraordinary and Exceptional
Justin O. Smith

Across time, the hand that rocks the cradle has always played a key part in the development of the human race and how we proceeded in a manner that ensured mankind’s survival. But now, since the advent of feminism and so many other idiotic insane movements, we see mentally deranged mothers exerting an undue influence over their children in new ways, that only ensure great harm and physically and psychological destruction for this generation, especially as we witness young mothers assuring doctors and authorities that their five or six year old boy told them he thinks he is a girl.

With 25% of this Millennial generation supposedly saying it identifies as one or more component of the LGBTQ alphabet sickness, it sure does look bad for the future procreation in America. Is it any wonder the RINOs and commies are colluding to flood the nation with cheap labor, when no one in America is breeding any longer, other than conservative women. But conservative women can’t do it by themselves.

The main thing however remains that America must turn away from its new malaise of simply flopping into the average and mediocre as if that is just fine. The American people on the whole must seek to return to endeavors and righteous ways that give new meaning to the word “elite” in a way that makes it shine again, as we rebuild our manufacturing base and locate and renew lost knowledge and skills, in order to once again see this country we love so well learn, train and ultimately rise again to see America become the most powerful and Exceptional nation on earth.

The future is exactly what we make it. There may be many ignoble, devious, despicable, vile and evil men and women, who may outnumber America’s patriots, standing in the way of any American restoration to greatness again, but evil has never really been a match for a righteous anger loosed upon the world in its most dire time of need. And although the current challenges are vast and many, we can overcome them, beat our opponents down and eventually make America a country worth living in again, for this is where glory and a life of meaning was once found and can be found again. ~ J.O.S.

Save America ~ Raise Your Children Well

One of my earliest life-altering memories comes from the years my family spent in the Panama Canal Zone, where U.S. soldiers were stationed on several adjacent military posts. As hard as my parents tried to shelter me and my brother, it was easy for me to sense the ripples of a low-level fear that ran through my mother’s conversations with her friends, as they took some moments to drink coffee and gossip in the mid-morning hours. The year was 1964 and I was seven years old.

This particular night, as a tropical storm brewed with thunder rolling out one explosion after the next and massive brilliant lightning bolts piercing the black night, a red alert went out and every off-duty soldier was scrambled back to guard the perimeter of Ft Davis, where my dad was stationed [and where we lived in base housing], as well as Ft Gulick, Coco Solo Naval Base, Ft Sherman, France Field Air Force Base and Ft De Lesseps. Everyone received orders to restrain from firing, even if fired upon, until and unless ordered to return fire or a breach of the perimeter was imminent. Two families that lived off base had come to stay with us, as Naval vessels positioned for a possible evacuation, and so I assigned the couch to sleep on that night, as I watched the lightening flash through the big picture window and making my young mind play tricks with the shifting shadows of the night. And then, just as I was about to drift off to sleep, the sound of rifle fire burst through the air, sounding far too close … Bam, Bam, Bam … Bam, Bam, Bam, Bam, Bam, Bam, Bam … and then silence again, except for the roaring thunder.

The apartment came to life as the women rose from bed to sit at the kitchen table, speaking in hushed tones by candlelight about what we all had just heard. As part of the general orders, all families were keeping the lights off, just to prevent giving the Panamanian revolutionaries anything to shoot at, if they decided to do so.

We would later find out that the husband of one of the women staying with us that night, a sergeant, had seen movement near the fence, and rather than wait for any order he had simply opened fire. He got a good dressing down for it, but no harm, no foul, and afterward all the adults were laughing and joking over how he’d become nervous and got spooked by some shadows. But it was a memory that stuck with me, allowing me my first glimpse into what it meant to be a hard man willing to take risks and do the hard things nobody else wants to do – to be willing to put one’s life at risk for God, family, country and duty – and to carry oneself in an honorable fashion.

It was during a hard nationalist push in the Panamanian countryside for the removal of all U.S. presence, that was largely driven by Panama’s socialists and communists, and all most of the Army dependents knew was the days had become increasingly dangerous. Riots had become common place, as well as the occasional car bombed or grenade lobbed, and the revolutionaries would regularly sneak onto the bases to take down the U.S. flag and raise the Panamanian flag. It was no longer safe to venture into Panama proper on one’s own, especially for any soldier still in uniform; my father’s First Sergeant was shot and killed by a sniper as they stood outside a restaurant in Colon.

In part, this was a time that inspired me to join the U.S. Army when I became a young man, taking my oath in September 1977 to join the U.S. Army Reserve as a sophomore in college and later amending my contract to U.S. Regular Army and going active duty upon graduation.

As I look at the youth today, I am appalled by the lack of integrity or inner-strength and backbone, strength of will, found in the largest segment of their ranks. They have been raised to be weak, whiny, needy and demanding as if it’s someone else’s responsibility to see to their needs and wants, even though they may be in their mid-twenties or early thirties; and although I also see many great young ones who give me hope, it is the former that seem to today’s growing majority and makes me fear for America’s future – those tatted up, nose-ring wearing, blue-haired radicals who’ve been trained to believe they can get something for nothing by way of the U.S. government and who accept communism and tyranny as a viable alternative to capitalism and freedom/

Maybe I’m wrong on the above score. I certainly hope and pray I am. After all, it’s the Commies of the country who are murdering their children by the millions each year through abortion; but are conservative men and women having enough babies and training them well enough to reject the Marxist-Maoist indoctrination they receive in the U.S. education system? Inquiring minds need to know.

A recent study released on October 30th 2024, by the Institute for Family Studies, entitled ‘Where Are the Babies? In Red States, Fertility Rates Are Higher‘, reached the conclusion that Republican states [those won by Trump in 2020] generally have significantly higher fertility rates than the Democrat states, which suggests men and women feel confident about raising families where conservative principles, American tradition and the founding virtues and principles are prevalent. If accurate, this may offer a glimmer of hope for the survival of America heading into the next few decades.

But for these GenZ and Millennial generations, one from my Baby Boomer generation gets the sense of staring at trained chimps who act more like pets of Big Government – the Leviathan – and scream and shout in all capital letters online, while they shrink, cower and cry in public if someone speaks to them harshly, or fly into unhinged, irrational, lunatic inept hysterical rages with nothing but mouth to back them up when countered by someone willing to slap the taste from their mouth. Today’s men, by and large, are fatter and uglier than those of the Greatest Generation who saved the world during WWII, and they have become walking shells, mere shadows of what their ancestors once were, because they have shirked their duties as men and opted instead to be cared for by the Leviathan as they abandoned the man’s code of independence and a life of honor and virtue and acquired the mannerisms of women in far too many instances, even turning to the immoral, deviant LGBTQ way of life.

What we are witnessing is far and away from anything I would call “progress”. In fact, what most people call “progress” today are a hodgepodge of ill-reasoned notions and counter-culture iconoclastic bullshit that is destructive to all of Western civilization and mankind’s very existence itself. It is a confluence of ignorance and stupidity and people taking flights of fancy and delusion in full blown denial of absolute truth and reality, in ways that will eventually lead to the complete collapse of civilization if left to their own devices and unabated.

I often have thought I would have thrived much better in some past eras and those days gone by when men were still men and women were women. Not that those days were in any way easier, but in that, there were times in America where some things were held sacrosanct, to remain inviolate, unless one was the lowest of the low and an evil, immoral outlaw.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that mankind has survived to this point and so long, from its past struggles, men and women making their way across the span of history eking out an existence hunting and gathering, fighting off warring tribes in times when honor and valor meant something more; especially when one compares ancient and medieval times or even America’s earliest colonial days to the weak people we find in abundance, no matter the fact society has made great technological advancements and despite all the current generation’s talk about saving the world and humanity by way of “social justice” and “diversity, equity and inclusion”. Men and women are not only incredibly physically and mentally weak in comparison to past generations in America, but, they are also unbelievably immoral, reveling in the same, as they push society into a moral, intellectual and psychologically unsound dark age that moves our entire society towards and unsafe and destructive way of life, a dark abyss that invites the total destruction of all mankind, set forth in the 1700s by proponents of Thomas Malthus and since echoed by the likes of Margaret Sanger and the Negro Project, and most recently the advocates of the climate change hoax and Klaus Schwab’s great reset/ redistribution-of-the-wealth insanity – “you will own nothing and be happy“.

It is an impossibility to achieve equal outcomes for every single man and woman across society, without destroying that society and the people within it. Some people just naturally stand a cut above others, either due to higher intelligence and physical stature or something within their character that drives them to want more and to success unlike most. Any attempt to seek “equity” across the board can only ever result in either mediocrity or failure for all. And every great man in history, from Socrates and Alexander [the Great] to Voltaire and on to Friedrich Nietzsche, Thomas Sowell and Hans-Hermann Hoppe understood this truth and rejected the mediocre outright, demanding excellence from themselves and others as well.

In ‘Twilight of the Idols‘, Friedrich Nietzsche writes:

“Here everyone helps everyone else, here everyone is to a certain degree an invalid and evetone a nurse. This is then called virtue.”

This isn’t to suggest that there isn’t virtue and societal value in charitable acts or giving others a hand up [not a handout]. It is simply a rejection of the collectivists’ – the communists’ – vision of “equality” under an immensely flawed concept and model of “democracy” and a way of life that is 100% contrary and antithetical to America’s traditional way of life and founding virtues and principles.

I can only surmise the consequences we now see manifest across society are the direct result of having society’s path directed by mother’s who have wiped their son’s and daughter’s mouths and bottoms until they were 35, calling them “children” until they were 26 years old or older.

I don’t think I was privileged, no, far from it; but I was given great latitude in my comings and goings as a young boy, which put me in danger at times but also allowed me to meet challenges head on and figure my way out of tough situations. I would often wander off the post there at Ft Davis, to go exploring in the surrounding jungle area, playing with the monkeys, the coatimundis, boa constrictors, baby crocodiles and the occasional coral snake [which got my ass beat good when I came walking home to show dad one]. What a wonderful experience it was to be able to step outside and pick a mango straight from the tree for a mid-morning snack, or hitch a ride on the undercarriage of a deuce-and-a-half across post, something that could have cost me my life as I had to time everything just right to keep from being run over. And swimming in the drainage ditches which ran some fifteen feet deep during the rainy season.

Mom was a good mother for the most part, keeping is well-fed, clothed and clean, but at times I think she was a bit overwhelmed by our energetic antics and preferred to have us outside – anywhere outside – just to be out from underfoot and in her way. Every few hours she might come out to call for us and have us make an appearance just to know we were fine, but somedays she was just as apt to never check on us at all, expecting us to show back up when we were hungry. One day, however, she sent me to look for my little brother who was only two at the time, as he had been out of her sight for a good spell, and told me to go check the drainage ditch on a hunch, since he was fascinated by the wildlife found there. And that’s exactly where I found him, just in time, as he was floating down the ditch on his back, little fat thing that he was; he evidently hadn’t been in long, and I dove in and pulled him out, already a strong swimmer at seven years old.

I’m not recommending my upbringing to the mothers of America, only something in between the helicopter mother smothering and my own freewheeling existence. You cannot ever totally protect a child from every hurt, break and harm, and while it’s okay to try, if you want them to grow to be healthy, normal, well-adjusted adults, you must talk to them early on about the dangers and the evils in the world and then allow them to navigate the world to some degree on their own, in order to learn how best to face potential or existential danger and challenges in real time, hoping and praying for them all along the way.

It’s hard to deny the influence the hand that rocks the cradle holds over society early on in all new generations. The sum product of who we ultimately grow to be is the direct result of the manner in which we were nurtured from our first days through our early years in the world and those experiences that made the greatest impact on our lives.

But you can’t have a society and a population filled with weak hypochondriacs, narcissists, psychos and deviants afraid of their shadows and still expect that society or the nation to survive.

Good Lord, Y’All … our ancestors engaged in hand-to-hand battle to the death, traveled across thousands of miles carrying thousands of pounds of supplies, armor and weapons and conquered and settled in lands all across Europe, for the most part, and America. They created Western civilization and brought its virtues and principles to America.

We need to rekindle that lost spirit of mankind and raise our youth to be hard men and women, fair and righteous, as we rekindle a search for beauty in our world, making our creations beautiful in every way too. Move our children to connect with their inner intuitive selves and that which is Divine and Sacrosanct, and teach them to lead noble, honorable, hardworking, fun-loving lives and lives worth living, rather than continuing to allow so-called “teachers” to make them accept mediocrity, as if it were the new exceptional and have them graduate with diplomas in hand yet still dumb as a damned rock.

Raise real men who can cook, garden or build a home from the ground up – who prefer these things as part of making a home and raising a family – while also being warriors who understand all aspects and necessary skills for war, whenever it comes and is forced upon them. Raise our boys and girls to lead extraordinary lives and to never just “settle” because its “the easiest path” or “so and so will catch my slack”; teach them to always seek to be independent, free and clear from any detrimental associations with others or any government entity, and responsible for themselves and their own actions. Most of all, teach them that actions and refusing to act both come with consequences or rewards in some form or fashion.

As Ayn Rand writes in ‘The Fountainhead‘:

“Don’t let anything sacred remain in a man’s soul – and his soul won’t be sacred to him.”

Life itself is a constant struggle, and some fare better than many others for any multitude of reasons, but if you really want America to be “great again” and to see America grow to be exceptional once more, that fight starts by raising a new generation of extraordinary and exceptional young men and women, warriors, artisans, artists, philosophers and scientists all to one degree or another, who see the beauty in the world and seek to emulate it in all things, much as mankind bore witness to during the Renaissance period, as we all live on the brink of life and death at the juncture of history between old and new once more.
