Something to Crow About What good would an American presidential election be in the year 2024 without an assassination attempt? These days, everywhere you look, there are lunatics roaming around. You see them at the market or the gas station. Or wandering down Main Street. They’re crazy and deranged, and they believe what the media has told them. That Donald Trump is Hitler. What’s more, some of these crazies, in the spirit of democracy, are eager to put their fingerprints on the turn of history. The current social and political madness won’t be over on election day. It is very well possible it will continue for years or decades to come. There will be another Russiagate, faux pandemic, unnecessary war, or something much, much worse. As America’s grasp at empire slips through its grubby fingers, the assumption of an honest election and a peaceful transfer of power has become uncertain. Too much corrupt money and power is at stake to allow the will of the people to freely decide the next president of the USA. Without question, America has had its share of assassinations throughout its brief history. The popular storyline for these events is always that they are perpetrated by a lone nutjob. Booth. Guiteau. Czolgosz, and Oswald. This also extends to failed assassination attempts by Schrank, Hinkley Jr., and Crooks. Perhaps it is easier to accept these were the actions of a lone nutjob than something more sinister. Security 101 is all about establishing a secure perimeter. The Secret Service failed to do this at the Donald Trump rally near Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 2024. Was this merely an oversight? To better understand what happened, and how or why the Secret Service allowed a man with a rifle to position his sights on Trump from just 150 yards at a planned event, some context is in order. Where to begin? Conspiracy Go back to the Roman Empire. There you will find that numerous emperors met their maker not from old age or the public loss of their faculties, but by the hands of assassins. Regicide, in the quest for power, was an ordinary occurrence. Edward Gibson, writing in The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (1776), offered the following remarks about how emperor Aurelian, who reigned from 270 to 275, met his fate:
The frequent assassinations of Roman emperors were not feigned to be solitary acts of a lone nutjob. They were understood to be the result of conspiracy by senators and the military. And, in many cases, were executed to end a period of oppressive rule. Gaius Caeser, known as Caligula (little boot), for example, pissed off the wrong people. Described as an insane tyrant, Caligula endeavored to increase the unconstrained personal power of the emperor. He also demanded worship as a living god and humiliated his senate. On January 24, 41, Caligula was assassinated as a result of a conspiracy by officers of the Praetorian Guard, senators, and other elites. The Praetorian Guard, much like today’s Secret Service, served as personal bodyguards for Roman emperors. Intentions may have been good. Some conspirators thought the assassination of Caligula would provide the opportunity to restore the Roman Republic. What fools. The Praetorians unilaterally installed Caligula’s uncle Claudius as the next emperor. And the madness continued. What to make of it? Deep State President Biden, throughout his entire term in office, has been in a condition of mental decline. His handlers, the mainstream media, and Washington insiders, have worked overtime to run interference for him. Though anyone who bothered to look knew what was going on all along. Biden’s debate performance shouldn’t have been the source of a new revelation. Clearly, Biden has not been running the country. He doesn’t even know who his vice president is. That work is being done by a cast of unelected men and women, the Deep State, who use their wealth and influence to control Washington to their benefit. Trump, regardless of whether you like him or not, is at odds with the Deep State. He’s perceived to be a threat to the status quo. Thus, the Deep State is taking all measures at its disposal to keep him out of office. Jim Quinn at The Buring Platform recently provided this recap of what’s gone down:
Something to Crow AboutWhere things go from here in America is already set in motion. In general, we’re traversing to a place that’s highly disagreeable. Regardless of whether Trump wins or Biden wins, or some other stooge ends up in office, the struggles facing America will remain. Political exploitation, societal collapse, hollowed out cities, inflation, mega debts and deficits, pointless wars, busy work, distorted stock, bond, and real estate markets, lack of eye contact, and the further descent into violence and cruelty. The genesis of it all extends from one fundamental fact. That the money is corrupted. Not until this cornerstone of civilization is set right will the current voyage to hell in a handbasket reverse course. The cycle of issuing debt and debasing the currency over and over again has boosted the scale and scope of government beyond comprehension. No program has been too big or too foolish to not be included in a Congressional spending bill. The bigger the boondoggles the better. With corrupt money comes corrupt government. As the national debt has exploded, a caste of political elites has maneuvered via the Deep State to exploit the spending for their own personal windfalls. They are getting rich at your expense. Roman citizens in the time of Caligula, for their part, understood that the Roman Republic had been lost. In America today, many of the voting public have yet to put two and two together. Others are content to live the lie. They’ll cast their ballots on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, and crow about their democratic freedoms. Then they’ll get up and go to work the next day and serve their invisible masters. [Editor’s note: The things taking place in America and the world today really are outrageous.
